The Christmas wish tree is made up of the dreams and wishes of children in shelters and substitute homes, sent to Santa Clause. To make sure that these do not just remain dreams, pick a gift from the Christmas tree and make a donation to the best of your ability.

Gingerbread Tour

In December, at the initiative of the SEB Heategevusfond (SEB Charity Fund), yet another Gingerbread Tour took place. This year, the tour took place for the fifth time, with adult volunteers visiting children's shelters around Estonia to make gingerbread cookies together with the children staying at the shelters. This year, the Gingerbread Tour made stops at eight different places – in Tallinn, Harju County, Ida-Viru County and Pärnu.

The volunteers of the Club, established to support the SEB Heategevusfond, also participated in the fun Gingerbread Tour, getting flour on their aprons and a sweet taste in their mouths along with the children; filling the houses with the smell of gingerbread and bringing joy to the children. Making gingerbread cookies was quick and well-organised – the children were really good at it. They made a lot of gingerbread cookies, and the gingerbread houses came out especially well.

Within the framework of the Gingerbread Tour, the children also made beautiful works of art under the guidance of glass artist Mari-Liis Makus, such as necklaces and other jewellery to be included in presents.
