Brushing of teeth became popular after the performance of “Karius and Bactus”

On Sunday, 26 February 2017, the children from substitute homes and shelters in Tallinn, Harju County, Tartu, Pärnu, Ida-Viru County and Viljandi County, visited the Tartu Theatre House to see the children’s musical “Karius and Bactus”.

The performance, which had teeth trolls as protagonists, who lived in the cavities of a boy named Juss, was funny as well as nerve-racking for the children. All of the children learned that brushing their teeth is extremely important.

After the performance, the children could take pictures with the actors and ask for their autographs. For some of the shy toddlers, communication with horrid trolls was a big venture. Some time was later spent at the Toy Museum, where bigger the children took part in the excursion and the smaller children simply played and looked around.
